The World Travel Awards have finished up and once again for the past 5 years, the Serengeti National Park has won best park in Africa. But many wonder how they’ve managed to win this many times.

If you aren’t aware of what the Serengeti is, the Serengeti National Park is a protected area. The park is located in Northern Tanzania. The Park is extremely popular with tourists and animal researchers alike.

The National Park is extremely healthy and one of the last strongholds where wildlife prospers without the desecration of human activity. The Serengeti is home to many species of megafauna. These beasts managed to survive the Quaternary extinction.

It is likely that due to the healthiness of the park as well as the near-perfect preservation of its animals all these years, the Serengeti managed to achieve this award 5 times in a row.

Despite the number of times the service for the park has helped this park win the award, the service still celebrates just like it was the first time they ever won this award. The National Park Service knows how valuable this is.
