Recently, CityPlace has been going through a change, they are changing their name and they are going through a ¨reimagining¨. They are changing the name to Rosemary Square, and they are redesigning the plaza. Gopal Rajegowda, a related senior vice president, says that it’s time to transform CityPlace from a mall to ¨a dynamic, urban neighborhood¨. CityPlace has had many transformations to make it better in the past but they haven’t had anything this extreme. This transformation consists of them adding new shops and adding a 21 story apartment.

They said they plan to invest $550 million over the next five years to the new developments in downtown. Five new restaurants are going to join Rosemary Square. When you see what they imagine Rosemary Square to look like, you might think of a mall mixed with a neighborhood. CityPlace will still be there but it will have a new addition to it.
