Poem: Test

Poem: Test

Sebastian Martinez, Reporter

My alarm clock is going off early
I’m sitting here trying to wake up

Got chores to do before schooling

My desk is a mess I need to re-setup

The schedule is rotating every day

I’m sitting here trying to remember
My Chromebook is dead, what did they all say?
My computer’s slow, I need it to restart

I’ve got class in half an hour

I’ve got to load up all my tabs

The dogs are being so darn loud

And my Internet is being really bad

Diagnostics
Calculators
SIS grades
“There’s no teacher-”
“I am so lost, no directions”
“There’s not enough time to complete this test-”

What’s the homework? “Write it down!”
I’ve got too many notes to keep any track of
The phone is ringing really loud
I have to study for this quiz

So many classes
No homework passes
SIS grades
No connection!
“I am so lost, no directions”
“There’s not enough time to complete this test”
