On February 24th, the national U.S. Women’s Soccer team went against Argentina in the final of the SheBelieves Cup. The game ended in an astonishing 6-0 with another victory to the North American players.

Megan Rapinoe, Carli Lloyd, and Kristie Mewis scored the first four goals during the first half of the game. In the second half, Alexandra Carrasco and Christen Press gained another two goals within less than five minutes.

This is the fourth SheBelieves Cup title that the USA has obtained. Nonetheless, they were the first team to not receive a single goal during the competition.

Receiving 31.7% of the total vote, Rose Lavelle was awarded the tournament’s MVP Award. Her energy was clear throughout all three games, she scored the winning goal against Canada during the first game, as well as assisting in the opening goal during this final.

The USA’s next game is on April 10, where they will face off against Sweden in the Women’s International Friendlies tournament.
