For the past five years, the Wellington Community Center has been hosting a holiday boat parade around Lake Wellington.

On Saturday, December 11th, approximately 45-50 boats are expected to cruise in the parade. The parade will start at 6:30. The event is free, and they are planning to have food trucks too.

Guest are asked to observe all CDC and social distance guidelines. Masks are recommended when adequate social distancing is unachievable.

“If you are a boater, and want to be in the parade, just decorate your boat and meet at the north end of the lake at 5:30 p.m. We start staging then, and at 6 p.m., we leave for the community center. Just e-mail me with any questions.” Says organizer Jack Brownson.
