What I’ve Learned This School Year

Kayla Bobb, Editor

We only have a few days left of school. Saying goodbye to our friends and teachers, hearing the last bell, and having the last lunch with your friends. We’ve made it, and look how far we have gone! This school year has taught me a lot of lessons, but there were 3 that stood out the most.

Excel in Your School Work

Excel in your schoolwork, trust me, it really pays off. By the end of the year, I’ve gotten into the National Junior Honor Society, got excellent grades, and have gotten many awards. Those studying nights, and extra practice will help you in your future.

Spend Time with Different People

Spend time with different people, always have a special bond with someone, and always be open to new people. Being an open person will allow you to achieve new experiences and personal growth. This year, I’ve met amazing people. I don’t know how my life would be if I’d never met them.

Try Something New

Try something new, and make new habits for yourself that allow you to become a better person. This month, I’ve tried reading every night, which has become a habit. Reading has opened my mind and made me explore a whole new world, rather than going on my phone every night.
