Being Yourself

Being Yourself

Kolee Ho, Editor

In middle school being yourself can be a difficult problem. The pressure of fitting into your peers is growing more each day, but not truly being yourself is more harmful than helpful.

When being yourself, you should focus on finding the right friends and not pretending to be someone you are not. Instead, when you let others know your real interests, you may find a couple more of long-lasting friends than fake friends you have nothing in common with.

You become more confident and comfortable making friends when you are yourself.  You can be yourself not just socially, but doing what you enjoy can also make a difference in your life.
