Should Kids be able to Rate their Teachers?

Marlee Buccilli, Writer

Most kids complain about teachers, saying they don’t like the way they teach or don´t like them. Maybe it’s time to give kids the chance to review and give their opinions on what’s best.

If teachers, PTO, staff, or parents give kids this opportunity, they are able to share something that they don’t like about the teacher or class, or something they do.

Although this gives kids the chance to write negative or mean comments about their teachers, it also teaches them responsibility. They could give 1-5 stars and leave a comment about why they feel this way. If staff members look at this reason, teachers can change the ways they do things, or assign more interactive activities.
