Pele Considered One of The Best Players

Katharina Jochem, Writer

Pele, one of the greatest futbol players, just died on December 29th, 2022 at 82 years old.

Soccer fans debate whether Lionel Messi or Christino Randolo is the best, but there is a debate for Pele claiming that title.

Pele in his career has won 3 FIFA World Cups. One in 1958, 1962, and 1970 being the top-scorer for Brazil. Claiming 77 goals in 92 games.

Pele was given the nickname “o jogo bonito.” Which means “the beautiful game” in Portuguese.

He valued ball control, while not only playing for himself but as a team. Pele championed it around the world.

Pele inspired many young and old futbol players. He has had such a big impact on these players and will continue to do for the rest of futbol history. Even when he’s no longer here.
