The Met ball, also known as the Met Gala, is an annual fundraising extravaganza conducted in New York City for the benefit of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The theme of the Met Gala this year is ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’. It is to honor his work and designs that he has done throughout the years.

There are various rumors of people such as Beyonce, Justin Beiber, J-lo, Bella Hadid, Jenifer Lopez and many more. 

This year’s Met Gala tickets cost somewhere around $50,000. It had a $20,000 rise from last year’s tickets. 

The designer brands include some such as Chanel, Fendi, Chloe, Balmain, Patou, and Karl Lagerfeld’s very own brand. Often, celebrities get invited by a designer who then dresses them for the event and usually poses with them on the red carpet.
