Sam Sam the Kittycat Man Found

Sam Sam the Kittycat Man had run away 11 years prior and was thankfully found in the nearby area just now thanks to a microchip. Owner Jennifer Ravenal was absolutely overjoyed to have her lapcat with her again after 11 years.

After losing him, Ravenel could not have another cat, it was too much for her broken heart. “I haven’t held a cat since he left 11 years ago because it broke my heart. To feel his little heartbeat in there, oh gosh, it’s the craziest thing that has ever happened to me.” she stated in a video of the Animal Society.

Charleston County Animal control had found him, scrawny and unhealthy. Sam had been feeding off scraps from stray cats at least half a mile away from his previous owners’ home.

When his microchip was scanned confirming his identity, Ravenel received an unbelievable phone call, “I really thought y’all were playing a prank on me, because it couldn’t be possible. But this is a miracle in itself.” she told the shelter.
