The famous Broadway musical, Wicked, is now coming out as a movie. It is coming out in theaters on November 22, 2024. Wicked is the back story to the film, “The Wizard of Oz”. It is about the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch of the South and their story.
The 2024 film Wicked stars singer-songwriter and actress, Ariana Grande, as Glinda, and actress/singer, Cynthia Erivo, as Elphaba. Wicked the movie has been cut into two different movies. Part 1 is coming out in 2024 and part two is coming out November 26, 2025.`
The Broadway musical Wicked is about 2 hours and 45 minutes long, including the 15-minute interval, with each run time being about 90 minutes. Parts one and two of Wicked will be each around 90 minutes. So the movie Wicked, will be about an hour and 30 minutes which is the normal time for a movie.
