Zootopia 2 has been talked about as being made since 2016, but it was not until February 8th that it was officially made. Zootopia 2 is scheduled to come out on November 26, 2025. The people found out that it was in production because, on April 15, 2024, Goodwin said on her Instagram account that she was recording her lines for Judy and it was confirmed. That’s how people found out Zootopia was in production.
Zootopia 2 is being written by Jared Bush and directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard. Zootopia 2 has some cons too, people say it has poor animation, disjointed storytelling, a weird storyline, and character motivations that make absolutely no sense. The pros of Zootopia 2 are that Disney can further explore themes of bias and tolerance.
Zootopia 2 will definitely be interesting and something to look forward to.
