Q: Were you teaching a different subject or doing anything different before you started teaching math?

A: Nope, I have never done anything different. Only been a teacher.

What do you like about WLMS?

I like that we have a single school culture and that the expectations are all the same for all students. I like that we have a very positive school climate, where we sometimes try and have some fun

If you could do anything in the world what would you do?

I would travel more. Travel a lot more so I can visit every continent someday.

What are some pets you own or wish to own?

I have a dog named Jyn Erso,  she is named after my favorite Star Wars character. She’s a mixed breed and is 5 years old.

Why did you choose to be a Math teacher?

I found myself drawn to teaching.  I love teaching math because it’s logical, follows patterns and rules, and the knowledge builds upon itself.

What would you share if you could pass on any wisdom to your students?

You really don’t know how important it is to take school seriously in middle school.  Everything that you do impacts your high school future as well as your future after high school.  If you are a good student, someday you will make an excellent employee.  The better you do in school, the more choices you will have in your future.
