“Very Mindful, Very Demure” Trend Needs to Stop

Many people on TikTok, social media, and especially around the school have been saying the trend, “Very cutesy, very demure, very mindful.” Because of this, my teachers have been starting to say it. For example, there have been signs on the street that say “very mindful, very demure.” There are signs around high schools that say these things. It is clear that this trend has gotten overboard.

This trend has gotten to the point where my own parents start saying it. It comes to the point where you can’t take it anymore, and you hear it almost everywhere you go. Younger kids, like 9-year-old Sephora kids, have been saying it everywhere. It’s just like the phrases, Skibidi Toilet, Sigma, Rizzler, Fanum Tax, and the podcast Talk Tuah.
