The Vaquita is one of the most important animals on the planet to protect. Studies show that there might be less than 20 in the world. The Vaquita is the rarest marine and rarest animal in the world. First discovered in 1958, the Vaquita is so rare the chance of spotting one is extremely slim. The biggest threat to the Vaquita is the use of gillnets in the Vaquita habitat, the Gulf of California, Mexico. Luckily, the Vaquitas are still reproducing, so if we stop using gillnets, the species will have a chance of returning.
The Gulf of California, Mexico, is the only place where the Vaquitas are found. The use of gillnets hurts the population of Vaquitas in the wild because fishermen mean to catch fish, but the Vaquitas get caught in the nets and sadly die.

good article, but it doesn’t support the title that they need the most protection, it’s just talking about what they are

It is not nice to insult others’ articles, it is hard to write an opinion article, so unless you wrote one, please do add negative feedback.

It was meant to be constructive criticism, not an insult.
