The fall season has officially arrived. So here is a recipe to satisfy your cravings.
This recipe is for chocolate chip pumpkin bread. The ingredients are pumpkin puree, coconut oil, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, ground cloves, kosher salt, all-purpose flour, chocolate chips, and pepitas. It takes about an hour and 15 minutes to make.
First, you make the batter by combining pumpkin puree, oil, and some of the sugars. Then stir the spices, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and all-purpose flour. After that, fold in your chocolate chips if you choose to use them. Now grease a 9×5-inch pan and add the batter to the pan, sprinkle granulated sugar on top, and add pepitas if using.Â
Then, put the pan in the oven that is preheated to 350 degrees. Bake until it’s cracked on the top and a toothpick inserted comes out clean, about an hour. Then, let the pumpkin bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. After that, flip it over onto a wired rack to cool. Finally, after its cooled, you can slice and serve it.
