For the second year, ESPN will host an alternate broadcasting for an NFL game. This time, compared to last year’s usage of Toy Story characters, The Simpsons will be a part of the alternate broadcasting as the Bengals and Cowboys play on December 9th.
In this broadcast, Named “The Simpsons Funday Football,” Homer and Bart Simpson are expected to team up with the Bengals and Cowboys, as Bart picks the Bengals and Homer chooses the cowboys. Alongside these two, other characters will make their appearances.
The unique thing about this broadcast is the usage of an advanced animation technology, which will allow the characters to synchronize with the players directly on the field.
And with these different broadcastings spread out through separate broadcasters, it can allow more people to watch the game, especially in a more entertaining and friendly way, immersing more people in football, and exposing this years season to more people.
