Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of school?
A: Reading, running, spending time with my husband and kids.
Q: Why did you choose to be a teacher?
A: I’ve just always wanted to be a teacher since I was 5 years old. I had amazing teachers my whole life who really helped encourage that dream.
Q: What is your favorite grade to teach and why?
A: That’s a tough one, there’s things I love about all the grades I’ve taught. I really enjoy teaching grades 4-8 the most.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Pasta, I love all the different ways to make it. My absolute favorite is Chicken Francese.
Q: What was one of your memorable memories with your students?
A: One of my most memorable memories with my students was when I went to Universal Studios with my 5th grade safety patrols.
Q: What is one of your favorite trips that you’ve been on?
A: One of my favorite trips was my trip to Hawaii in 2014, because that was the trip where my husband proposed to me, and it was my first time getting to see my dad in 2 years because he was stationed there for the Army.
Q: Do you have a pet at home? If so, why did you choose it?
A: Yes, a kitten named Pippin. My kids really wanted a pet, and I enjoy having a cat because they love to cuddle and play.
Q: What is a good movie to watch and who do you enjoy watching it with?
A: I love watching the Lord of the Rings movies and The Hobbit movies with my husband.
