Q: How long have you been teaching and what subjects have you taught?
A: This is my 19th year teaching. I taught elementary school for 16 years – I taught first, second, third and fourth grades. This is my 3rd year in middle school. I’ve taught 7th and 8th Science.
Q: Why did you decide to be a teacher?
A: I loved school as a kid and knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was really little. I had a phenomenal teacher who I wanted to be just like. He had an old fashioned bath tub in his room that was filled with pillows and we could read inside it with a friend.
Q: When you were in school what was your favourite subject?
A: My favorite subjects were English and Writing.
Q: Where are you from and what is your favourite sports team?
A: I am from upstate NY and the BUFFALO BILLS are my team.
Q: Do you have any kids and if so do they go to WLMS?
A: I have identical twins, Leah and Laney that are in 8th grade here.
Q: What is your favourite thing to do in your free time?
A: Hang out with family and friends, play with my dogs, garden, read, relax by my pool
Q: What is your favourite part of science?
A: Labs! The best part of Science is the labs we get to do.
