In many other countries there are different traditions, in Japan one of the biggest things to do is Christmas Eve people eat KFC, they call it “Kurisumasu ni wa Kentakkii” which means. It has been a tradition since the early 1970s.
In Australia it’s summer there when it’s christmas time they surf wearing Santa hats, Christmas swimwear, etc. In 2015, a local group did 320 surf lessons in Santa hats and raised 1,000 dollars to Mental Health Charity.
In Spain most villages enter the Christmas lottery. On the 22nd of December is the day the Christmas lottery is drawn. Most people in spain go to designated areas and scratch their tickets to see if they get the ‘El Gordo’ meaning the big or fat one.
