Manager Aaron Boone was bothered by the meltdown and criticism of all the fans for not winning the World Series. Even one of the pitchers from the Los Angeles Dodgers, Joe Kelly, had stuck up for the Yankees.
The Dodgers had won 7-6 to capture the title, and that’s when the fans went ballistic. The fans were screaming, crying, yelling, and sending complaints, and all of this made the whole team weary.
Joe Kelly said on his ‘Baseball isn’t Boring’ podcast, that the Dodgers enter each game saying, “Just let them throw the ball into the infield. They can’t play.”
Although the Yankees may have crazy fans, there are still fans who support and are kind to the Yankees, not sending complaints or being crazy fans. Although supporters are sad, that doesn’t give them the right to harass Aaron Boone and criticize him for the loss.
