I think cats are better than dogs in many ways. First off, you constantly have to walk dogs, no matter what you are doing, unless you want a mess in your living room. With cats, when they are potty trained, your day doesn’t have to be interrupted by nonsense.
There is also the poop situation. When you walk dogs, they most likely need to use the bathroom, and as their owner, you have to pick it up. Now I know nobody enjoys picking up dog poop, or poop in general but with cats, all you have to do is scoop it up out of the litter box, throw it out and you’re done!
I also belive that cats don’t smell as much as dogs do, especially if you have a cleaning schedule you follow. Dogs constantly smell like musk and get dirty very easily. These are reasons why I think cats are better than dogs

I think both are pretty good. Sure, cats are potty trained, but walking your dog can get you exercise daily. At the same time though, you can technically walk a cat lol.
