The Daytona 500 is an annual event that takes place at Daytona International Speedway. It is a 500 miles long NASCAR motor race, for the Cup series. The race has been held in Florida every February since 1959, making 2025 the 67th occurrence. The date for this year will be Sunday, February 16th, and is exactly one week after the Super Bowl ends (February 9th).Â

The race will take 3 to 4 hours, meaning each driver could be going as fast as 170 miles per hour. This is about 2-3 times as fast as most cars travel on the highway.
