The Majorettes perform at every basketball home game, and recently did an amazing show for the school assembly. Their hard work and determination makes them a fantastic sight to see.
They practice twice a week, from 4:15 to 5:30 after school. If you decide to join Majorettes next year, you must commit to going to practices, or you might risk your spot on the team. Being a good Majorette will take time and dedication, but the applause at the end of the day will make it worth it.
Someone who is on the Majorettes team at Wellington Landings has said, “If you want to succeed, all you need to do is stay positive and give it your best effort.” This kind of attitude encourages the athletes to do better, and never give up. Even if one of them drops a baton, they will pick it up, do the rest of the performance, and it will not even faze them.
