In our everyday lives, it is normalized to spend multiple hours on electronic devices playing video games, watching movies/shows, or doing school work. But everything has its limitations, and I believe that we are spending too much time on electronics, rather than doing other things that would contribute to our well being.
Having screen time limits can affect the many ways we present ourselves in everyday life. Too much screen time can result in laziness, lack of motivation, and other negative behaviors. If we have this limit on our electronics, we could become more determined and focused on other more important tasks. This could also result in better physical and mental health, higher academic performance, and an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.
It is true that electronics can be entertaining in their own unique ways, but the cons outweigh the pros. Some commonly used electronic apps for entertainment include Snapchat, Instagram, Youtube, and Tiktok. All of these websites provide 10 seconds to a minute video spans, which could mess with one’s attention span and focus.

In my opinion I believe setting a screen time limit would affect people in a negative way by making them not being able to contact people if needed as well as making them bored and having nothing to do. I believe that parent should just enforce rules that make it so that their kids only use the phone for whats needed and have fun with it when the appropriate time comes.
