Monty the Giant Schnauzer finally wins the Westminster Dog Show after coming very close in the past two competitions. Monty is the first of his breed to win this dog show. Monty has won many dog shows such as the huge American Kennel Club Championship in December and he’s been a finalist twice in the Westminster Dog Show.
Monty is sadly retiring after performing in 5 competitions. While he may have gotten this year’s trophy, many others came close. When you take a trip to Westminster you’d see a variety of dogs. They have many different categories such as agility and obedience. Many of the dogs are very intelligent, like Brina, a 155-pound Neapolitan mastiff like a guard dog.
While others performed very well, this was a great way for Monty to end his career, performing in dog shows.
