On March 9th, 2025 the “Walt Disney Imagineering” YouTube channel published a new episode of their series, “We Call It Imagineering” after 8 months since the previous episode. The series is about the Disney company’s Imagineering team who make the attractions, areas and most publicly accessible parts of the Disney parks all around the world. The new episode is about how to Imagineering team designs and tests different rides and attractions for the parks.
The video showcases a ton of information about some new rides and attractions in development such as the Monsters Inc. roller coaster, the Cars ride coming to Walt Disney World, and the new Avengers Campus expansion coming to Disneyland in California.
The Monsters Inc. roller coaster coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida will be a suspended roller coaster where you sit under the track themed to the iconic doors scene from the movie. In the video, they showed a very interesting clip of the station of the ride where it appears to get out of the station the seats of the ride rotate while moving up on an elevator.
Another new attraction is the Cars ride coming to the Magic Kingdom in Florida. The video included a clip of them testing the ride system which looks like a trackless ride on dirt in an off-road vehicle. The video is great and also shows many more things about the rides.
