MPA is a Music Performance Assessment that includes signing and sightreading. Sightreading is reading musical notes off of a sheet. Some sightreading is solfege, such as “Do Ri Me Fa Sol La Ti Do.” But another sightreading is syllables, for example, ta di takadimi and sincopay. In MPA you do both, while the judges are taking notes you try your best to do good.
