On Mar 13, 2025, WLMS had a teacher vs. student basketball game. The game was only available to people who completed Reading Plus for Q2. You were to dress in your house colors and sit with your houses at the game.
The game consisted of 6 teachers and 6 students, one student and one teacher from each house. The game started with the choir kids singing the national anthem. Then, one knockout game was played, followed by a fantastic dance segment from WLMS dance class, and concluded with another knockout game.
After the game, students who attended got treated with ice pops and social hour in the courtyard till the bell rang. Overall the game was such a fun experience as a student who went to the game. I hope we do more stuff like this in the future.
