At the beginning of March, administrators started visiting schools and emailing current students with course selection forms.
Dr. Taylor has visited the elementary schools that are zoned for WLMS, such as Wellington Elementary, Binks Forest Elementary, etc. She explains the dress code, the rules, and the courses for upcoming 6th graders. Ms. W came to the 7th-grade science classes to discuss the course selections and explain the new classes we could take. Administrators from Wellington High School came here over the past few weeks to explain to the 8th graders about the procedures.Â
Some of the elective choices are band, chorus, student government, speech and debate, journalism, tech, peer partners (8th graders only), art, and so many more. You can also take US History over the summer so that you can get another elective.Â
