A day after the Steelers traded their wide receiver, they may be closing the deal with a new quarterback. While the Steelers are continuing their discussions with Russel Wilson and Justin Fields, Aaron Rodgers has emerged as an option for a new quarterback.
It was announced that Rodgers is on the market after 10 Pro Bowl seasons. He only had two bad seasons. The New York Jets general manager Darren Mougey said last month that they would likely remove Rodgers by June 1st.
Even though the New York Jets ended their season with a 5-12, Rodgers scored 28 touchdowns, passed for 3,897 yards, was 25th in QBR, 30th in completion percentage, and 28th in yards.
