
On March 10th it was announced that Cole will undergo Tommy john surgery the following day. The decision to have the surgery will have him out for the rest of the 2025 season and at least part of the 2026 season. Cole, 34 went through somewhat the same thing last year. Mid March he had extreme elbow pain causing him to not play until June 19.Â
Cole has had over 200 victories over his career. He is a right-handed pitcher for the Yankees. Cole’s replacement is supposed to be Marcus Stroman but this is yet to be confirmed. His most recent game was on the 6th when the pain started.Â
Cole has played on four teams so far: the Yankees, Pirates, Astros, and Indians. He is married to Amy Cole, and they have two kids, Caden and Everett. He was born in 1990 and started his MLB career in 2013.Â
