On Sunday, a Flamin’ Hot Cheeto shaped like the beloved Pokemon Charizard was sold for an astonishing $87,840. This unique snack, measuring just 3 inches long, was preserved in a clear card storage box after being found by 1st and Goal Collectibles between 2018 and 2022.
It gained enormous popularity on social media platforms in late 2024, capturing the attention of collectors and fans. The auction took place at the Goldin auction house, where it attracted significant interest, leading to 60 bids. Ultimately, the final bid reached $72,000, but with the buyer’s premium factored in, the grand total climbed to an impressive amount of $87,840.
Fans and collectors named the weirdly shaped snack “Cheetozard”. The Goldin auction house specializes in rare and one-of-a-kind collectibles and that’s exactly what this Cheeto is.
