Miami-Dade and Broward counties, for the past few decades, have been known to draw people from all over the country and even the world. Even nowadays, it seems almost obvious that there are other places to go.
A little background, both counties are host to several cities where people come during summer. For Miami-Dade, it is Miami Beach and Aventura. And for Broward, it is Fort Lauderdale and Sunrise.
Firstly, both counties during the summertime are host to more traffic as a result of the notion by many that Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale are the best places to go. Though traffic is prevalent all around, it does get severe during peoples long-scaled freetimes.
Also, because of the fact that these are tourist cities, there are places that may choose to target visitors by scamming these tourists such as fake rental scams, hotel scams, etc.
As a result of these conditions, there are other pleasant beachside towns and cities to visit other than Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia, though, do boast really pretty coasts, and it isn’t as prevalent as larger places with their immense traffic and bigger threat of scamming, making these 3 states more appealing as places to go during the summer.
