Chinese robot companies like EngineAI, Unitree, and NOETIX Robotics are engineering incredibly lithe robots that are capable of awe-inspiring stunts and feats of strength. Recently, following the world’s first front-flipping robot, China has created the world’s first side-flipping robot; both incredible acrobatics that most humans are unable to accomplish.
Along with flips, the robots these companies are manufacturing are being programmed/taught to dance. In fact, they sometimes join human dancers in performances. Another remarkable achievement the Chinese companies have made is the programming of Kung-Fu in some of these robots.
In all, China has made impressive advancements in robot technology. These progressions have raised both questions and concerns for the future of the world. However, one thing is certain: the world is quickly advancing in technology, and as stated in the Spider-Man stories, “With great power comes great responsibility.”
