You may have heard the news by now, but if you haven’t, the American pop singer, Taylor Swift, may be on the FC Barcelona jerseys. As the game of El Classico on May 11th comes closer, Barcelona and Real Madrid will be going against each other. Barcelona and Spotify are looking for a deal with Taylor.
In the past few years, Barcelona has made deals with artists such as Drake, Coldplay, and The Rolling Stones. When Ms.Swift played in Spain last year in May, she left a huge impact on the city and performed for more than 130,000 fans.
Although no deal has been made, Taylor Swift is seen as the first choice. If she doesn’t close the deal, Barcelona is also interested in a collaboration with Travis Scott or Ed Sheeran. Many fans have different opinions on this, some say that if Taylor Swift does accept the collaboration then she will help Barcelona get out of some debts they have due to the popularity of the singer. Others think that she doesnt fit in or it’s just a weird collaboration.
