AI should be used in schools more because it could be beneficial to students. Many people believe that students shouldn’t be able to use AI in school because all they would do is cheat and get answers. It could be beneficial because it could show the students how to solve the problem in math, provide explanations for questions in science, reading, and social studies.
Teachers should be able to trust their students using AI, but if a student is using it in the wrong way, they will get that privilege taken away from them. The Palm Beach School Distcit recently gave students the tool of Kahmigo, an AI tool made by Khan Academy. The only con to this progam is the fact that every single teacher that a student has gets notified when a student uses the platform.
There are so many other AI platforms that students should be trusted with and that are easier to use and access, such as ChatGPT, Gauth, Snapchat AI, and so many more.
