Do middle schoolers ever have time to themselves during school hours? Some people might say that lunch is a time for students to do what they want, but even during lunch, many rules prevent students from having time to themselves. Lunch is also a time when students interact with friends or eat their food. There should be a free period where students can do what they want.Â
 A lot of students have extracurricular activities after school and don’t have time to do homework at home, a free period would be very beneficial to these students. They would also be able to interact with their friends during this period kind of like a recess.Â
A free period would be a great benefit to loads of students, allowing them to finish work for other classes and talk to their friends after going through a day of school. School can be tiring, and students need a break.
