Last Wednesday, Spotify, the app that hundreds of thousands of people use, had a widespread outage. But just a couple of hours later, Spotify reported that it was working again.
Spotify apologized for the issues and posted on X(Twitter) that they were offering help for those who are still having issues. While Spotify was down, users reported that they were having trouble loading the app, the website on computers, searching for songs, and they weren’t able to access the support website. Spotify said that the outage started at 6:20 am on Wednesday, but was working again by 11:45 am. This may not seem like a long time, but for people who listen to music endlessly, this was the end of the world. a.m.
Spotify still has no idea about how this could have happened. They also mentioned that there is no possible way that they could have gotten hacked. Even though Spotify said these complications were fixed, some people still have issues.
