Coming up in a few weeks, students at our school will be taking the FAST Test for Reading and Math, and other end-of-year tests including the Science and the Geometry EOC for those taking the class.
Here is some information on the predicted testing dates for the following tests:
April 2nd- FAST Writing (all students)
May 1st- FAST ELA (all students)
May 6th- Science (8th grade), Civics EOC (7th grade)
May 13th FAST Mathematics (7th grade accelerated)
May 15th- Geometry EOC (Geometry students).
Students are advised to plan around these dates as it is never in the students’ best interest to have to take a standardized test on a make-up date. Teachers have been preparing students for this test, so it is very much suggested that students try their very best. Students must score at least a level 3 or higher on the FAST tests in order to not be placed in an intensive class next school year for either reading or math.
