Recently, Reginald, a 7-year-old Great Dane, and Pearl, a 4-year-old Chihuahua, met for a playdate. This may seem like nothing unusual, except for the 3-foot height difference between the two dogs.
If you didn’t know, Chihuahuas are known for being tiny dogs, while Great Danes are recognized for their massive size. This caused a 3-foot size difference between Reginald and Pearl. Pearl stands at 3.59 inches, while Reginald stands at a whopping 3 feet tall.
During the playdate, the owners noted the odd behavior of the two dogs. Pearl’s owner stated that Pearl loves all dogs, but being around Reginald made her a bit nervous. Reginald, on the other hand, was very cautious around Pearl and was very aware of her presence.
During their two days of hanging out together, Pearl and Reginald found some common ground, made good memories, and possibly formed a new friendship.
