In April 2025, China sent a new crew of astronauts to their space station in a new attempt to gather information for its “Mission to the Moon and Mars.”
The rocket was released from Jiuquan, which is located near the edge of the Gobi Desert in northwestern China. China built its space station entirely after being excluded from the International Space Station due to security concerns with the US.
China is the 3rd country to launch a man into space. The Chinese space program continues to advance at a good pace. They have successfully landed an explorer on Mars and also sent a rover to the far side of the moon.
The current set of astronauts is all male, but this is not always the case. This crew of well-trained astronauts is set to stay
