Adding a study hall period would be incredibly useful for catching up on things like homework and assignments. Many kids have limited time after lessons to complete that day’s assignments. Adding an extra 45 minutes where students can catch up would be beneficial for both students and their grades.
Kids with after-school sports and/or activities have limited time to complete homework. For example, if students had a period to relax, study, and complete homework, it would allow students to bring up their grades, or even clear up their schedule by completing assignments early. Students often don’t have time to study, so being able to study before a test would be incredibly beneficial for both them and their grades/GPA. Overall, adding an extra 45 minutes where students can recollect and have free time to use for educational purposes would be beneficial for everybody. Â
