My vacation to South America was exhilarating. We did lots of fun things. When I first found out that my family and I were going to South America, the first thought that came to mind was, “Where in South America would we be going?” And what they said surprised me; they said that we were going to Colombia, where my entire family was from. I was curious about the place where my parents grew up. 

Later, when we got on the airplane, I was so excited to get there, I closed my eyes, took a nap, and then when I woke up, we were in Colombia! When we got off, we rode to the place we were staying, and it was one of the nicest places I have ever been to. There was a huge pool, a full-size soccer field, a basketball court, two houses on the property, horses that you could ride, a lake with fish that you could fish, and a beach right next to it. We had lots of fun at the beach.

I went with my whole family on the trip, and did everything there within the first few days. Every day we went out to eat, and the food there was really good. Overall, my trip was so amazing and I would definitely go there again.
