The College football season has been going on and there have been many upsets and exciting games. One of the most exciting games of the season was the Florida Gators versus the Texas Longhorns. This game was on Saturday October 4th and was a big game for both teams. The Gators have been having a devastating season coming at 1-3 losing to teams like USF. Texas had a much better record being 3-1 only losing to #1 ranked Ohio state. This meant that Florida was definitely an underdog but they pulled off a very impressive well played comeback.
The final score of the game was 29-21 Gator with the upset. The game was in gator control the whole time as they had the lead the whole time not giving it up. The Texas quarterback Arch Manning had a decent game throwing for 263 yards with a 55% completion percentage and 2 touchdowns. However he threw 2 interceptions which may have cost them the game. However the Florida quarterback threw 289 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the gator to the win with a 21/28 pass ratio with a 75% completion.
The Gator Next game will be versus Texas A&M Aggies, another top ranked opponent so they will be coming into another game as the underdog looking for back to back upsets. Well the Texas longhorns will play Oklahoma the 6th ranked team looking for a big upset to put them back in the ranking and revive there season.
