Bad Bunny hosted SNL’s first show of season 50, along with Doja Cat as the musical artist, and a couple new faces to the SNL cast; on Saturday Oct. 4 at 11:30pm in New York. He had just gotten back from his residency performances in Puerto Rico, at which 500,000 to 600,000 people attended.
During Bad Bunny’s monologue, he announced that he was going to be doing the halftime show for Super Bowl 2026. He said in Spanish that he was “honored to be representing all the latinos and latinas at the Super Bowl.”
One of the 7-10 skits he did was in mainly in Spanish, which was based on the old Tv show called “El Chavo del Ochco”, he did the skit along with Marcello Hernandez as Chavo del Ocho (The kid from number 8), Bad Bunny as Quico, Andrew Dismukes as Don Ramon (Mr. Ramon), Chloe Fineman as Dona Florinda (Mrs. Florinda), Sarah Sherman as La (the) Chilindrina, and Kenan Thompsom as Mr. Stomach. He also did a skit that was accompanied by the voices of Huntrix from the 2025 movie “KPop Demon Hunters”, he also did 2 other skits with the rest of the SNL cast.
