On October 10, the Polo Park Stallions came over Wellington Landings 2-1 in a very close game, where Polo Park got 2 runs in the last few innings.

Q: A lot of 6th graders tried out for the team, but a lot of them didn’t make it. What would be your message to them?

A: We’re going to be missing some key 8th graders, so there are going to be some spots open, so just keep practicing.

Q: Today you didn’t win. What do you think was missing from the team to win?

A: We need more strikes, less walksQ: What do you think you need to get better at both personally, and as a team?

A: Situational hitting, and our team could use less walks, and more hitting and better at-bats.
