On the dates from the 3rd to the 5th of this month, Singapore hosted the Formula 1 qualifiers and the Grand Prix.
Every year, Formula One holds 24 races in various locations around the world; to date, 18 of these races have been held. The previous ones were in Australia, China, Japan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Miami, Emilia-Romagna, Monaco, Spain, Canada, Austria, Great Britain, Belgium, Hungary, Netherlands, Italy, Azerbaijan, and Singapore, which was the most recent one.
The podium for the Singapore GP was: first, George Russell, second, Max Verstappen, and third, Lando Norris. Lando Norris finished in third after an on-track incident with his racing partner, Oscar Piastri. The incident happened during the first lap when Norris made contact with Piastri; Norris had clipped his rear wing right before colliding with his teammate and overtook Piastri’s place, which then left Piastri in fourth place behind Norris. The constructors for McLaren won the Constructors’ championship despite Norris and Piastri being in third and fourth place.
