The University of Florida’s Family Weekend took place from October 3 to 5, 2025. During that weekend, the UF football team played Texas and won 21-29 in an exciting game.
The football stadium exceeded its capacity by over 2,000 people, and more than 61,000 family members and students attended Family Weekend. There were many events during family weekend, but everyone came for the football game, where Florida’s odds of winning were only 33% and the Florida fans were ecstatic at the win.
On top of the excitement of the football game, that weekend was the 50th anniversary of the Florida Gators’ creation, Gatorade, and they talked about it the entire weekend, including during halftime at the football game.
In all, Family Weekend was a very exciting event for all the students and their families at the University of Florida.
